Bonsante won 3 out of 4 rounds against Brinkley before getting careless in the final round. His "trainer" Williams told him it was a close fight and he needed to win the last round big, so he went toe to toe and got caught with a perfect uppercut. He knows what he did right for 4 rounds and he knows what he did wrong in 1 round, he learned his lesson.

That was a fucking joke. No way Mora should have won that fight. He didnt do anything. Maybe won 2 of the 8 rounds. Underdog landed many more punches and was not hurt at all. I still cannot believe the result of this one. This sport is fixed. I now know this is fact. No other way to explain what just happened. This is a joke. Fucking disgusting.

Mora suffered a very bad cut in the first round, not only did the blood distract his vision, the severity of the cut took him completely out of his gameplan. Without the cut, Mora would've easily outboxed Manfredo like he did the first time. With the huge cut threatening the length of the fight, Mora became overly aggressive and fought Manfredo's fight all the way.
Btw, Mora had Manfredo hurt in the 5th, much more than Manfredo ever hurt Mora

I had the fight as a draw, 4 rounds each. Teddy Atlas was commentating during some of those rounds that Mora won as though Manfredo wasn't even touched. Not sure what he was watching. I agree with Boxlocks that Mora was forced to change his style given the nasty gash over the left eye. Would have been interesting had the fight been scheduled for 10 rounds. I felt guilty takin the cash with Mora. Laying -280 definately was worth sweating over.
The Bonsante decision on the other hand was a total joke. Glad I didn't take a small piece there.

First of all, the LA crowd wasn't as one sided for Mora as I thought it would be, during the fight I couldn't tell a difference when each guy landed.
Second of all, the crowd always roots for the guy who's coming forward throwing shots...the agressor. They don't care if the shots aren't landing or if the other guy is cleverly countering with more effective shots, they just want action and more beer.
I can't tell you how many fights I've been to (and seen on TV) where the crowd was completely wrong about who actually won the fight.
